We maintain a substantial inventory of patterns for both standard and custom-designed sow molds (sow moulds), and our collection continues to grow. We offer sow molds (sow moulds) and ingot molds in traditional cast steel for aluminum foundry, customer-specified materials, or our proprietary DuraCast® materials. All smelting molds (moulds) are manufactured under stringent process controls to ensure the highest quality.

Not ordinary sow molds – to achieve the material’s full potential – maximizing their service lives, all our sow molds (sow moulds) and ingot molds undergo serious Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for surface and subsurface discontinuities on the surfaces that come into contact with molten aluminum.

In response to some of molds’ most extreme working conditions, such as water cooling, we have developed few special grades of steel material that are less susceptible to crack in such extreme application conditions.
